Crowe’s Hildebrand Joins AICPA Board

Crowe Horwath partner Mark Hildebrand has been named to the board of directors of the American Institute of CPAs.

Hildebrand will serve a three-year term on the board. He will join the Finance Committee, which is responsible for reviewing the institute's plans and budgets prior to their approval by the board of directors and Governing Council. Hildebrand has served on several of the institute’s national committees, including its Major Firms Group and Council, and as a founding member of the Center for Audit Quality’s board of directors. He is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society.

Based in Crowe’s Indianapolis office, Hildebrand currently serves as Crowe Horwath LLP’s partner-in-charge of health care industry services, and is currently the chairman of Crowe Horwath International, one of the largest accounting firm networks in the world.

From 1999 to 2007, he served as the CEO of Crowe Chizek and Co. LLC, during which time the firm’s revenue grew 190 percent.
