Creative Solutions, a unit of Thomson Tax & Accounting, has acquired the assets of Dunphy Systems, a Columbus, Ohio-based publisher and marketer of tax software.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Creative Solutions said it will be making a special offers to Dunphy customers to transition to its UltraTax CS, part of the CS Professional Suite. Renewal incentives for Dunphy users transitioning to Ultra Tax CS include price protection at Dunphy renewal rates and special training options.To ensure a smoother transition, Creative Solutions said it has been working with Dunphy software engineers and has already designed a client data conversion program, including the data on federal 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 returns, as well as the information on 1040 forms for Ohio state and various cities.
