Business and accounting software provider Creative Solutions has released UltraTax 1040, a new offering to its Web Service suite, which enables firms to provide 1040 clients with a secure portal to complete their tax organizers and access an electronic copy of their completed tax returns.
Built on the NetClient portal technology, UltraTax 1040 also enables firms to post read-only PDF copies of each client's completed tax return within a private and secure portal on the firm's Web site. Once the return is available, clients are subsequently granted access with unlimited print capabilities.
Jon Baron, president and chief executive of Creative Solutions, said that the UltraTax 1040 portals were created for firms that "did not want the administrative work and expense of setting up a full portal system for once-a-year 1040 clients."
