DATAlynx Launches Net Portal for Fee-based Advisors

Denver (April 12, 2002) -- DATAlynx, a provider of custodial and back office services, rolled out an Internet portal for fee-compensated investment advisors.

Dubbed SimpliCITY, the portal -- accessible through www.datalynx.com -- offers investment advisors business tools, support services and a communications network. Among the portal's features are SimpliCITY Financial Office, Digital Documents and access to insurance products through Fipsco, a wholesale insurance service and DATAlynx affiliate which offers insurance products from more than 40 life, annuity and long-term care carriers.

SimpliCITY Financial Office features include performance reporting, gain/loss reporting, asset allocation, rebalancing, contact management and client profiling. Financial Office, which can also be used as an online portfolio management system, is connected directly to the DATAlynx system, eliminating daily downloads and reconciliation, which are done automatically overnight, according to the company.

Digital Documents enables online completion of forms and auto-population of repetitive information on most often-used DATAlynx account forms. The portal also features iStatements, online delivery of the monthly consolidated statements DATAlynx provides to advisors and account owners. iStatements includes an 18-month history of account statements.

Future enhancements to the portal will include bulk account setup, additional Financial Office features, online document storage capabilities and web-based mutual fund trade processing, the company said.
