Decosimo Buys Federal Compliance Group

Decosimo has acquired the Huntsville, Ala.-based cost accounting and federal compliance solutions group Solvability.

[IMGCAP(1)] [IMGCAP(2)]Solvability’s founder Jenny Clark and CEO Joe Yearta will each serve in director roles under the new arrangement with Decosimo.

The new addition bolsters Decosimo’s existing audit, tax and business advisory service offerings for government contractors, while extending Solvability’s reach and resources.

“With the government contractor concentration in Huntsville and our regional firm’s growing client base in this industry, it was important for us to complement our traditional assurance and tax services with the compliance advisory and specialized accounting solutions that these businesses need to effectively operate and report on their federal contracts,” Decosimo’s principal Ken Conner said in a statement.

Solvability helps businesses to evaluate, implement, maintain and improve their systems, providing highly-accessible and flexible options for training, consulting and technical support.

Solvability’s team of government contracting specialists and CPAs provides industry solutions including ADP, Deltek, QuickBooks and Unanet to comply with federal contract audit agency requirements.

Solvability will continue to operate under the Solvability name and will attain all of its personnel. Contact numbers, as well as email, online and physical addresses, will remain the same.
