Deloitte plans to invest approximately $300 million to create a learning and leadership development center in Westlake, Texas.
Construction on the facility in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area will begin next year. It is expected to open in 2011. The 750,000-square-foot campus will have 800 guest rooms, multiple conference spaces and classrooms.
Deloitte plans to host events there with business leaders, professors and the firm's own employees. It is intended to serve as a central destination for everyone from new hires to partners, principals and directors.
The facility will also feature a ballroom, a business center, recreational facilities, dining and a fitness center. The campus will be constructed according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards established by the U.S. Green Building Council.
