Deloitte US picks next CEO and chair

Deloitte's U.S. firm has named Jason Girzadas as its next CEO, succeeding Joe Ucuzoglu, who is becoming CEO of Deloitte's global network, and named Lara Abrash as chair of the board, succeeding Janet Foutty, starting June 4, subject to a partner vote.

Girzadas is currently managing principal of businesses, global and strategic services, where he's responsible for driving integration across Deloitte's audit and assurance, consulting, tax, and risk and financial advisory practices. He's also been a member of the U.S. Executive Committee, advisory partner for several large clients, and actively engaged with several strategic alliances for Deloitte. Girzadas previously led Deloitte Global Consulting, where he oversaw double-digit revenue growth.
