Dixon Odom director named to state CPA board

Raleigh, N.C. (July 24, 2003) -- Dixon Odom director Norwood Clark has been appointed by North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley to serve a three-year term on the State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners. Clark began his term on July 1.

Clark had owned Raleigh-based accounting firm Clark-McNairy, which in mid-July was merged into High Point-based Dixon Odom.

The N.C. State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners is an independent state agency made up of seven members. The agency grants certificates of qualification as CPAs and adopts and enforces the rules of professional ethics and conduct for the state accounting industry.
