Donovan Succeeds Father as Managing Partner

Jeffrey Donovan has been named managing partner at Donovan Certified Public Accountants and Advisors.

He takes over for Robert Donovan, who is remaining with the firm as a partner. The elder Donovan started the Avon, Ind.-based firm in 1972. His son Jeff has been with the firm since 1994.
Jeff is a CPA, Certified Valuation Analyst, and Certified Forensic Financial Analyst. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Business with a degree in accounting and began his career in the Guam and Saipan offices of KPMG Peat Marwick. He has served on various boards and committees in the communities in which he has lived and is currently a board member for Hendricks County Bank & Trust.

Donovan CPAs and Advisors is a 20-plus person CPA firm located just west of Indianapolis. The firm provides accounting, tax and audit services including payroll and part-time controllership, as well as provides specialized support in business valuation, fraud, forensic accounting and advisory services.

The firm’s core client base ranges from individuals to midsized companies. The firm also conducts employee benefit plan audits and provides specialized support services to larger businesses as well.
