Dunlap merges with Seitz, Leatherman & Kolb

Two firms in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Dunlap & Associates PC, in Chalfont, and Seitz, Leatherman & Kolb LLC, in Montgomeryville, are joining forces to create DunlapSLK, effective Jan. 2, 2019.

The combined firm will have nine shareholders and 47 other team members. Dunlap & Associates has five shareholders and a staff of 31, while SLK is contributing four shareholders and a staff of 16.

“We enter this merger as two longstanding, strong and well-established firms,” said Dunlap & Associates shareholder and managing director Dennis Dunlap, in a statement. “As we come together, we are combining our talents and expertise to benefit our clients, while providing even more development and growth opportunities for our combined team of nine shareholders and 47 staff members.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. DunlapSLK will be located in Dunlap’s offices Chalfont in a building that is currently being renovated to accommodate the growth. The renovations are expected to be complete early next year.

“Dunlap and SLK have similar cultures, values and priorities, so this merger is a perfect fit,” stated SLK managing partner Lon Seitz. “It allows us to expand, enhance, and diversify our capabilities, while continuing to provide clients with exceptional service on all levels.”

Ira Rosenbloom, chief operating executive of Optimum Strategies, acted as strategic adviser to both parties on the merger.
