E&Y Names New San Francisco Office Managing Partner

San Francisco (Aug. 13, 2003) -- Ernst & Young has tapped Mark Gaumond, a partner in the firm's global accounts practice, as its new San Francisco office managing partner.

Gaumond joined Ernst & Young in May 2002. In addition to his client responsibilities in San Francisco, he is a member of Ernst & Young's advisory council, serves on the firm's Global Accounts Advisory Group, and is the senior client-serving partner for the Pacific Northwest area practice.

Prior to joining E&Y, Gaumond spent 27 years with Arthur Andersen, where he served large multi-national companies in a variety of industries and worked extensively with investment bankers and others on merger and acquisition matters, including due diligence investigations.
