The deal expands the Top 50 Firm's consulting practice — specifically in ERP consulting, cloud business systems, advanced analytics, business intelligence and data-driven decision support — adding 36 employees to the team. Equify co-founder Taylor Kopnitsky will lead the firm's business systems consulting practice, and co-founder Ben Washburne will lead the advanced analytics practice.

Elliott Davis, based in Greenville, South Carolina, ranked No. 47 on Accounting Today's 2026 Top 100 Firms list. It reported $194 million in revenue, with 67 partners and over 730 employees across eight offices. In June 2025, the firm took a private equity investment from Flexpoint Ford.

"The addition of Equify Advisors is an important step in the continued growth of our Digital Consulting practice," John Otten, CEO Elliott Davis Advisory, said in a statement. "The team brings deep expertise in business systems consulting and analytics, along with a strong reputation for helping clients solve complex business challenges."

Envoy Capital Advisors served as the exclusive advisor to Equify Advisors on the deal.

"We founded Equify Advisors on the belief that a technology partner has to be more than just a transactional consulting service," Equify's Kopnitsky and Washburne said in a joint statement. "We take great pride in how we partner with our clients to guide them through their business systems and analytics journey, and in the age of AI, that kind of partnership matters more than ever."
