Fiducial Unveils Small Biz Payroll Center

Columbia, Md. (Oct. 7, 2003) -- International tax and business services outsourcer Fiducial has a new Web-based, payroll processing center designed to cut the time small businesses spend administering back-office functions.

“The number one thing we hear from small business clients is that they are drowning in a sea of back-office functions like payroll and have too little time to devote to their core business,” Fiducial’s executive VP Yves Morard-Lacroix said in a statement. “Fiducial’s new payroll processing center simplifies what can be a time consuming and complex process into a single phone call, fax, or email each pay period.”

Fiducial’s processing centers include complete tax and payroll services. Once client data is received, the center tracks payroll schedules, processes all payroll information, produces pay checks, creates and files all state and federal tax returns and provides complete payroll report each pay period.

The cost of servicing 10 employees on a bi-weekly basis is $40.80 per pay period, compared with about $46 from competitive payroll processing providers.

Morard-Lacroix claims the payroll processing has serviced 125 clients since a pilot launch this summer.

Fiducial’s network of franchised and company-owned offices across the country includes more than 600 neighborhood offices serving 55,000 small businesses in hundreds of sectors. Individual advisors within the nationwide network act as personal, small business counselors providing advice on issues from capital expenditures to hiring staff.
