FinancialForce Unveils Spring 2016 Release

FinancialForce, cloud ERP provider on the Salesforce App Cloud, announced the Spring 2016 release of its financial management application.

The latest release gives CFO and financial department customers the ability to personalize their experience. Users can tailor how they enter and view accounting information, have access to 360-degree customer views, and can collaborate and work socially across their organization.

The Spring 2016 release’s new accounting capabilities include built-in intercompany reconciliation and automated elimination entries. The solution also offers global exchange rates to streamline the managing of multinational transactions.

The release, developed with customer feedback, includes fully configurable input forms that are intuitive and support rapid data entry. FinancialForce also added Related Content Panels to its Action Views so users can design work panes combining information from any object on the Salesforce App Cloud with accounting transactions, accounts and balances in a single view. With these role-based work panes, users can embed task management and social collaboration to suit their functional needs.

“The new CFO is a strategic business partner, guiding his or her company to smart growth and more bulletproof business models,” stated Raphael Bres, general manager of financial management at FinancialForce. “This means the finance team needs to spend time providing insights to the business instead of collecting or reconciling data. With this release, we are giving financial applications users powerful new technologies that boost data capture and put collaboration, action and the right information at their fingertips to transform the way they engage with customers and do business.”
