Cloud ERP provider FinancialForce.com announced new financial visibility and business intelligence capabilities.
The Salesforce App Cloud-built ERP company added to its online querying and reporting tools and introduced ViewThru financial components, enabling users to extend their financial chart of accounts to any object on the Salesforce App Cloud and FinancialForce ERP Wave apps.
Sub-analysis of charts of accounts can be displayed using financial widget components, easily embedded in other applications, to ViewThru to general ledger information.
Customers can also use ViewThru drag and drop a profitability widget onto the layout of a customer account view in Salesforce CRM to see inline analysis of customer profitability without running a report.
The latest FinancialForce ERP adds Action Views, an ad hoc querying and analysis tool, to the Financial Management application. Using the tool, users can see their data in an Excel-like interface and drill down to financials, CRM or other objects on the cloud.
The new release also has FinancialForce XL Plus, which users can securely authenticate to FinancialForce ERP and use to pull financial statements or reports into Excel.
FinancialForce also unveiled pilots of two FinancialForce ERP Wave apps powered by the Salesforce Wave Analytics Platform: FinancialForce Accounting Wave app and FinancialForce Supply Chain Wave app. The apps incorporate and analyze financial and supply chain performance data.

Companies can now extend their chart of accounts to include information elements from other applications, such as customers, cases or marketing campaigns."
