Employees are giving back by volunteering at different charitable organizations in May and June. This year, SS&G’s Cincinnati office is sending volunteers to the Freestore Foodbank, which supplies over 19 million pounds of food annually to 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. The volunteers will be working on June 4 to sort donated food and stock shelves.

WASHINGTON

According to a report released by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, enhancements that the Internal Revenue Service has made to its Modernized e-File system in preparation for the 2013 Filing Season should help ensure the system’s reliability and reduce delays in processing taxpayers’ tax returns.
