Armanino LLP held its community outreach program by closing its offices and sending employees into their communities to volunteer for the Great Give, on Thursday, May 21, 2015. The company-wide program, now in its seventh year, works with nonprofits to set up a variety of projects serving numerous communities to work on.

FLORIDA

BrightLine CPAs and Associates, Inc., has been selected as a 2015 “Cool Vendor” by Gartner, Inc., the information technology research and advisory company in the report titled “Cool Vendors in Audit and Compliance Innovate Controls Validation Techniques, 2015.” … The Fuoco Group has formed a strategic partnership with Hewins Financial Advisors LLC, a national, CPA-based financial advisory firm, to launch TFG Financial Advisory, a new wealth management offering. Backed by the collaboration with Hewins, which manages approximately $3.9 billion in total assets under management, TFG will broaden its service platform and boost growth within its practice across the East Coast, including its headquarters of South Florida, where Hewins also has a base of operations.

CCH IntelliConnect Browser Search, from Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, continues to earn prestigious industry recognition for transforming the way professionals do tax research by integrating its expert and citable content into Google and other search engines to streamline workflow for tax and accounting professionals. The first-of-its-kind research tool has been named a finalist for the 2015 American Business Awards (Stevie Awards) in the category: New Product/Service of the Year — Solution for Integrating Content into the Workflow. This comes at the heels of other recent industry nods. Just last month, CCH IntelliConnect Browser Search was named a finalist in the 2015 SIIA CODiE Awards for Best Solution for Integrating Content into the Workflow, and earlier this year Accounting Today magazine named CCH IntelliConnect Browser Search to its top new products list for 2015. … The Illinois CPA Society, in partnership with GE Capital, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Technology Association, Illinois Retail Merchants Association and Illinois Food Retailers Association, conducted the Illinois Middle Market Study. The study surveyed 110 executives from the Illinois middle market to examine topics related to business capabilities and performance, growth drivers and economic outlook among other topics. The study was fielded February 17 to March 30, 2015.

Cherry Bekaert LLP in association with The National Center for the Middle Market has released the results of the Q1 2015 Middle Market Indicator Survey. Conducted by the NCMM, the survey represents the 13th consecutive query into the state and health of the nation’s middle market.
