AUSTRALIA

Expensify has opened its first office in Australia, in Brisbane, giving it offices on three continents and in four time zones.

 

CALIFORNIA

Condie & Wood CPAs, Santa Clarita, has rebranded itself Condie, Thomas & Harbo CPAs, following the admission of Jeffrey L. Thomas as a shareholder in January 2012, and Heather A. Harbo as a shareholder on Sept. 1, 2016.

 

CHINA

GP CPAs LLP, Guangzhou, has joined international firm association HLB International. Established in 1981, the firm has more than 800 staff, including over 29 partners, 250 CPAs and 100 CTAs. 

 

COLORADO

Payroll Vault Franchising has opened a new corporate office at 5231 S. Quebec St., Greenwood Village, Colo., 80111.

 

GERMANY

BlackLine has expanded in Germany with a new office in Frankfurst. The office, and the company's operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be led by Petra Ellmerich.

 

ILLINOIS

The McGladrey Alliance will be changing its name to the RSM US Alliance. (See the story.) ... Sikich LLP, Naperville, has named to the 2016 Inc. 5000 list for the fourth consecutive year.

 

KANSAS

Regier, Carr & Monroe LLP CPAs, with offices in Wichita, Tucson, Ariz., and Tulsa, Okla., has joined the North American region of AGN International.

 

KENTUCKY

Dean Dorton Allen Ford PLLC, Lexington, has launched an outsourced accounting service. (See the story.) 

 

NEW JERSEY

The New Jersey Society of CPAs has partnered with IVDesk, to offer the latter's private cloud solutions to CPAs firms.

 

NEW MEXICO

REDW LLC, Albuquerque, has joined with Jim Sell and his Phoenix-based consulting business, James C. Sell, PC, as part of a strategic expansion of its valuation, forensic and litigation services practice. Sell will serve as a senior forensic consultant in REDW's Phoenix office. 

 

TENNESSEE

LBMC Investment Advisors, Nashville, a member of the LBMC Family of Companies, now has more than the $1 billion in assets under management.
