CONNECTICUT

The Deloitte Foundation, Wilton, has announced the recipients of two awards that it sponsors, which are offered by the American Accounting Association and the American Taxation Association. The 2006 Wildman Medal, for excellence in accounting research, was given to Professors Bill Kinney, of the University of Texas - Austin; Zoe-Vonna Palmrose, of the University of Southern California; and Susan Scholz, of the University of Kansas. The 2006 ATA Teaching Innovation Award was given to Profs. Bryan Cloyd, of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Connie Weaver, of Texas A&M University.
