Fishbowl Premieres Developer Site for Inventory

Fishbowl has launched the Fishbowl Developer Nation, a new community designed to support its users and partners to help accelerate innovations for its Fishbowl Inventory 2012 software.

The company unveiled the new network and announced its first three partners Monday at the 2011 Sleeter Accounting Conference in Las Vegas.

The first three FDN partners include document management provider eFileCabinet, mobile developer Sharpe Concepts, and SaaS-based integrated packing and shipping provider Pacejet.

“Fishbowl Developer Nation is a very key strategy to support the growing community of businesses that rely on the Fishbowl platform for inventory management support,” said Fishbowl chief executive David K. Williams. “We anticipate the developer network playing a significant role in supporting Fishbowl’s growth into mid and larger-size companies in the months and seasons to come.”

The API provided via the FDN will also support the company’s enterprise resource planning offering Fishbowl Enterprise.
