Former NJ CPA Society Prez Elected to Heat Processing Company Board

Sayreville, N.J. (Oct. 20, 2003) -- Fulfilling the new requirement that someone with financial expertise serve on the boards of publicly traded companies, The Classica Group announced that it has elected former New Jersey Society of CPAs’ president Sharon Lamont to its Board of Directors.

Lamont, who recently finished a term as the only woman president of the NJSCPA, is the owner of public accounting firm Sharon Lamont  & Associates.

In addition to her CPA credential, Lamont holds Series 63, 65 and 7 securities licenses, which she uses to provide investment advice to clients.

In announcing Ms. Lamont's election to the Board the Classica Group's acting Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bernard F. Lillis, Jr. stated "We are pleased that Sharon Lamont has accepted our invitation to join our Board as one of our independent outside Directors. She is a valuable addition and she will be a key advisor to the Company's management."

The Classica Group designs and builds microwave heat-processing systems capable of pasteurization, sterilization, sanitizing, and drying in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
