Cloud-based accounting software provider FreshBooks redesigned the company’s iOS app for its service-based small business customers.
The app, created to streamline small business owners’ mobile accounting, was enhanced to be more intuitive and improve workflow.
Specifically, the new iPhone app makes it easier to create invoices, capture expenses, and track time anytime, anywhere. The new home screen captures everything in a single screen, with a “create now” button enabling users to quickly create an invoice, expense, or start a timer when the app launches.
Action buttons, including a view contact button and the ability to send clients thank-you notes, were added to the app’s invoicing capabilities. FreshBooks also simplified the process of adding taxes to expenses, with an ability to preview receipt captures.
