Online invoicing, time tracking and billing vendor FreshBooks.com has added the ability to upload and attach receipts in all file formats to its billing system.

Users who log an expense into FreshBooks will now see a link to upload a photo or scan the expense receipt in any image file format. When an invoice is generated and users choose to include expenses assigned to a project, receipts automatically get added to that invoice.

“Accountants have long been faced with boxes of receipts from their clients come year end,” said FreshBooks accounting ambassador Kasey Bayne. “To say the least, that kind of data entry is no one’s idea of fun. This new feature helps client easily stay organized, and lets accountants focus on the higher-value work they do to help their clients grow.”
