Gocial Gerstein Merges with Gold Meltzer

Gocial Gerstein LLC has merged with Gold, Meltzer, Plasky and Wise to form Gold Gocial Gerstein LLC.

The combined firm will have three offices in the Delaware Valley region, in Moorestown and Voorhees, N.J., and Jenkintown, Pa., with approximately 80 employees managed by an executive board. The merger went into effect on Jan. 1. Financial details were not disclosed.

Managing partner Steve Swartz will be on the executive board along with five of the combined firm's 21 partners. They include Stan Meltzer, Morris Gocial, Ed Plasky, Ron Dubrow and George Pomerantz.

"That 'small firm feel with large-firm resources' has been a vital part of our success, and this merger allows us to continue our slow and deliberate growth that empowers us to add to, and excellently service, an impressively diverse client base in many businesses," said Swartz in a statement.

The firm provides accounting, financial reporting, auditing, tax consulting, financial consulting, forensic accounting, investment and insurance advice, and personal financial planning services.
