Grant Thornton’s Canadian firm has merged in Oulette & Associates, a firm based in Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

As part of the deal, the firm’s founder, Denis Ouellette, has joined Grant Thornton as a partner, along with a team of five. The group will operate from its current premises in Grand Falls under the Grant Thornton name.

Ouellette & Associates services private business and individual clients throughout Victoria County and beyond. “We are thrilled to be joining an exciting and growing firm like Grant Thornton whose values and culture mirror our own,” Ouellette said in a statement. “Leveraging Grant Thornton's resources will tremendously benefit both our staff and our clients, giving them access to services we have not been able to provide in the past. We are all very much looking forward working with the Grant Thornton team, both locally and across the country.”

Ouellette and his team expect to be able to offer their clients more extensive tax services and enhanced corporate finance and valuation offerings by combining with Grant Thornton.

"We're delighted to welcome Denis Ouellette and his team into the firm,” said Grant Thornton regional managing partner Kevin Ladner. “Their collective experience and reputations are a great fit for Grant Thornton in markets where demand for our services is strong.”
