Greatland Corporation subsidiary Nelco has launched a new Web Reporting Center as part of an enhanced set of tools for developers of accounting and payroll software.
Nelco’s enhanced Software Development Suite provides developers with both the Web Reporting Center and the company’s Wage and Information Reporting Engine, or WIRE. Both products allow software developers different levels of customization to add new W-2 & 1099 reporting capabilities to their own products, without the need for in-house development time and compliance expertise.
The Web Reporting Center offers a portal with federal, state and recipient e-filing, printing and mailing services. The application offers software developers a template portal that can be customized to an individual brand’s look and feel. It includes state reporting and filing capabilities.
WIRE is an application that takes raw data from other software applications and merges it with an extensive library of government-approved federal and state wage and information reporting forms. Users also have the ability to view the forms on screen, edit data, print on blank forms and save archived copies, while developers maintain control over the overall user experience. The data from WIRE can also be e-filed using Nelco’s Web Reporting Center or WageFiler applications. Wage Filer is a customizable, secure way for developers to add e-filing and automated form printing and fulfillment to their software applications.
