GSCPA Appoints Parker as Chair-Elect

Terry Parker has been tapped to serve as chair-elect of The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Parker, who is a partner at Clifton, Lipford, Hardison & Parker LLC in Macon, Ga., has been a member of GSCPA since 1989.

He’s been active with the organization for several years and has served on the board for the Middle Georgia Chapter, the Educational Foundation and a number of other committees, in addition to the GSCPA Board of Directors. 

Parker is a native of Statesboro, Ga. and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in tax from the University of Georgia. He is licensed in both Georgia and Florida.

He specializes in taxation, which includes corporate, partnership, and individual taxation, along with taxes related to nonprofits, trusts, gifts, estates and retirement plans.

In addition to his service to GSCPA, Parker is also a trustee for the Georgia Federal Tax Conference and a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs.
