Payroll, benefits and compliance provider Gusto, formerly known as ZenPayroll, announced Lexi Reese as its new chief customer experience officer, operating as a company spokesperson and voice for customers.
Reese was formerly a vice president at Google, leading global programmatic platforms for their media buying and ad tech solutions, and prior to that was a leader of AMEX’s small business division.
“Small and medium businesses are the economic engine of the United States,” Reese said in a statement. “The majority of job creation happens through small business. And clearly these businesses and the people they employ build strong, vibrant communities. Yet we make it so incredibly difficult to start and run these businesses. Talk to any business owner and they will share operational horror stories around setting up and executing payroll, complying with federal, state and local taxes, and facilitating benefits for their employees. Gusto recently opened a Denver office,
