Kansas City, Mo. (March 6, 2003) -- Nana Mensah, president of H&R Block Tax Services, resigned two months after being named to the post. Mensah, whose resignation is effective immediately, cited personal reasons unrelated to the company.

Jeff Yabuki, H&R Block's executive vice president and chief operating officer, will serve as interim president until a successor is named.

Mensah, who began with H&R Block on Jan. 6, had previously served as president of Long John Silver’s Restaurants Inc. and also held posts with PepsiCo Inc.
