H&R Block Teams with Yodlee

Tax prep giant H&R Block is partnering with onlinebanking provider Yodlee to integrate Block's tax software with Yodlee'spersonal financial management software.

Currently more than 25 million consumers access Yodleethrough various online banking and portal sites. Beginning next tax season,consumers will be able to use data from their personal financial accounts,including 1099 forms, tax-deductible transactions, and business expenses, topopulate information in their H&R Block tax return, allowing them toautomatically identify money-saving deductions.

The alliance will provide consumers with year-roundonline access to tax preparation resources. At tax time, they will be able totransfer their financial data from their online banking accounts to complete atax return.

The fully integrated H&R Block-Yodlee solution willbe available as a pilot in April 2010, with full accessibility for the 2010 taxfiling season.
