Honoring O'Kelly

HONORING O'KELLY: KPMG chairman and chief executive Timothy Flynn accepts the first-ever Eugene O'Kelly Award from the CEO of the American Cancer Society of New York and New Jersey, Donald Distasio.The award, named in honor of the former KPMG chair who died in September 2005, only months after being diagnosed with brain cancer, was given to KMPG in recognition of its active support of the society; in 2005 alone, the firm raised over $220,000 for cancer research, education, advocacy and service.

This was the inaugural award; it will be presented annually to an organization that exemplifies O'Kelly's commitment to community service and volunteerism.
