Hoover’s Teams with Sage on SMB Info

Hoover’s Inc. and Sage North America have formed a new partnership to provide business insights to small and midsized businesses.

Sage Business Info Services for ACT! provides direct access to Hoover’s Business Insight through Sage ACT! 2011 contact and customer manager software. Hoover’s, which is part of Dun & Bradstreet, provides on more than 65 million companies and 85 million professional contacts worldwide.

Sage Business Info Services for ACT! is a subscription service that helps Sage customers identify new selling opportunities by facilitating the import of targeted prospect lists from Hoover’s into Sage ACT!. Through the alliance, Hoover’s is providing three tiers of access to Sage ACT! 2011 customers:

•    Free Business Directory
o    This free directory includes Hoover’s company descriptions, main company contact information, basic financials and top three competitors.

•    Reference Subscription
o    Expanding on the Free Business Directory, this subscription level includes Hoover’s full company overviews, D&B D-U-N-S Numbers, expanded financials, contact information for key people, industry overviews and full competitor lists, as well as company news and news alerts. This level gives customers more in-depth data to facilitate relevant conversations and a targeted sales strategy.

•    Reference + Leads Subscription
o    This top-of-the-line subscription includes all of the preceding information, plus keyword and advanced searching for new company research, as well as the ability to download up to 400 company and contact leads per month.
