Horne LLP has appointed Katherine Watts as the new partner-in-charge of the firm’s health care services unit.

Watts assumes responsibility for the management and operations of Horne’s health care business unit, which includes oversight of the firm’s reimbursement and advisory practice, physician services, revenue cycle services, and health care assurance services. Watts will continue her client work in physician services in taxation, business accounting and advisory, valuation, and compensation. 

Watts joined Horne in 2004 as a partner in the firm’s Jackson, Tenn., office.  She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, the Health Care Advisors Association, and the Health Care Compliance Association. In addition, she is chair-elect and a board member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
