IBM Extends Cloud Connections with NetSuite

NetSuite Inc. has partnered with IBM to further connect and integrate their respective cloud solutions, mostly via IBM’s recent acquisition of Cast Iron Systems.

The Cast Iron technology enables customers to connect on-premise applications and business processes to cloud-based applications, including NetSuite and its global business management solution NetSuite OneWorld. With NetSuite OneWorld and the Cast Iron Systems solution, customers can use NetSuite’s  cloud applications to manage multinational, multi-subsidiary business operations in real time. They can then roll up division-level transaction and summary data to their corporate-level SAP or Oracle ERP systems to gain an enterprise-wide view of their business operations.

“NetSuite is committed to bringing the power of cloud computing to mid-market enterprises and divisions of large companies,” said NetSuite vice president of business development Glenn Griffin. ”By partnering with IBM, we now make it easy for enterprise customers to deploy a powerful cloud computing ERP application that integrates readily with their on-premise systems.”
