Altamonte Springs, Fla. (June 24, 2004) -- The Institute of Internal Auditors, a 90,000-member group based here, has partnered with Big Four firm Deloitte on a new IT audit curriculum.
Under the agreement, the IIA’s multi-pronged program will be developed and taught by Deloitte IT specialists.
A series of courses has been designed for two audiences -- internal audit professionals seeking additional knowledge of IT systems and issues and IT specialists who want additional experience in auditing those systems.
The audit courses are delivered through a number of interactive methods, including group discussions, case studies, practical exercises, skill practices, application planning and hands-on computer experience.
