IMA announces seven more Endorsed Schools for 2021

The Institute of Management Accountants announced that seven more colleges and universities have been recognized as IMA Endorsed Schools for 2021. The institutions are highlighted for their support of students pursuing and earning the Certified Management Accountant credential.

More than 100 colleges and universities around the world have been endorsed under the IMA program to date. Earlier this year, eight colleges and universities were recognized as Endorsed Schools, including Morgan State University, the first Historically Black College and University to earn the IMA's recognition.

“High-quality educational programs like those at these endorsed institutions help future management accountants achieve their career goals and meet the competency expectations of today’s employers,” said Loreal Jiles, IMA vice president of research and thought leadership, in a statement. “We continue to encourage qualified programs to apply for IMA endorsement and earn this distinctive recognition.”

The new IMA Endorsed Schools for 2021 include:

  • Drexel University (Philadelphia);
  • Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, Florida);
  • University of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.);
  • Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, Arizona);
  • Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates);
  • Lipscomb University (Nashville, Tennessee); and
  • The British University in Egypt (Cairo, Egypt).
