SAGE RELEASES TIMESLIPS 2009Sage Software has released Timeslips by Sage 2009, an enhanced version of its time and billing application that includes a number of new features and improvements. These include streamlined billing, with customizable buttons that activate user-defined billing procedures; new reporting; and a new timekeeper report that enables businesses to track work in process, billed time, paid bills and write-offs for each timekeeper. Timeslips 2009 also offers the option to auto-fill transactions with a client’s current balance, automatically run conflict-of-interest checks during the client-entry process, and the ability to hide inactive references.

The suggested retail price for single users is $499.99, with multi-user value packs for $899.99 for up to five users and $1,599.99 for up to 10 users, with volume discounts available to firms requiring more than 10 users. For more information, go to www.sagesoftware.com.

MICROSOFT ACCELERATES DYNAMICS FOR PARTNERS

Microsoft introduced Dynamics CRM Accelerators at its Worldwide Partner Conference to help its customers and partners benefit from new functionality in Dynamics CRM on a more frequent basis.

The company also offered a major update to Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step, an implementation methodology that includes an enhanced set of best practices and extendable templates.

The Redmond-based software giant also introduced rapid implementation tools in Dynamics GP, and provided new mobile functionality and development tools for Dynamics NAV 5.0 and GP 10.0 to allow customers to access the software through mobile devices and help partners accelerate development time for mobile applications.

Other enhancements include new collaboration capabilities and Microsoft Project 2007 integration for Dynamics SL 7.0 that improve teamwork and project management productivity.
