INTUIT ROLLS OUT NEW LACERTE TRIAL BALANCE UTILITYIntuit Inc. has introduced a new trial balance utility for Lacerte tax software users.

Designed to eliminate set-up work, the Lacerte Trial Balance utility allows Lacerte tax software users to integrate most trial balance data into the tax return. Using the utility, accountants can adjust journal entries, or make tax-line assignments within the Lacerte tax software. The new solution is available for $450 per license, with an annual maintenance fee of $150.

SAGE ROLLS OUT LATEST CRM SYSTEM

As part of its annual partner conference, Insights 2007, held in May, Sage Software introduced a new version of its SalesLogix customer relationship management system.

SalesLogix 7.2, the 10th edition of Sage's "best-of-breed" CRM application, now includes a multi-client architecture that supports a variety of mobile uses. The new version supports Web, mobile and Windows interfaces, with the mobile interface allowing for data-charting on BlackBerry devices and support for Windows Mobile and Smartphone devices.

SalesLogix also includes a visual analyzer that provides business information such as key performance indicators, forecasting information, opportunity management and marketing displays through 10 customizable dashboards. The new version also includes an interface with drag-and-drop tabs, middle-pane navigation and minimal screen refresh.

SalesLogix 7.2 starts at $795 per user, and SalesLogix Mobile 5 starts at $295 per user. SalesLogix Visual Analyzer is now available for $400 per user. More information is available at www.sagecrmsolutions.com.

NETSUITE UNVEILS MOBILE SRM, ERP

Web-based business management software company NetSuite Inc. has launched its first mobile customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning offering.

Through partnerships with three third-party application developers - Antenna Software, Explore Mobile and iEnterprises - working on NetSuite's development and integration platform, SuiteFlex, NetSuite's core offerings are now available on mobile devices such as the BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Palm Treo.

SuiteFlex, NetSuite's application development and integration platform, is designed to enable the extension of NetSuite to third-party systems, and the creation of third-party vertical applications within NetSuite, as well as to customize business processes for user companies.

Through iEnterprises' Mobile Edge for NetSuite, a pre-built application that is the only one of the three offering ERP integration, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile users will have the capability to connect and extend NetSuite CRM and ERP capabilities to their handheld while they are away from the office.
