KPMG HOLDS VIRTUAL JOBS FAIR

New York - KPMG hosted a 48-hour worldwide recruiting fair over the Internet in mid-September. The KPMG World Jobs Fair attracted more than 10,000 people to sign up at KPMG's Web site.

Job candidates were able to search through hundreds of KPMG jobs, and chat with recruiters in KPMG's audit, tax and advisory businesses. They could also watch live webcasts, participate in question-and-answer sessions and apply for jobs online. The jobs fair included a virtual exhibit hall with booths representing KPMG's 45 member firms.

The event followed an internal jobs fair KPMG conducted in May for its own employees and partners at 12 of its member firms. That fair attracted nearly 5,000 participants.
