Redwood City, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2004) -- CPA-owned professional liability insurer Camico Mutual Insurance Co. is offering its policyholders free online practice management courses.
The series of five courses offers a total 24 hours of CPE credits in topics ranging from ethics to fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates. The Web-based courses are being offered in partnership with eMind. Camico policyholders can access the courses through Camico’ members-only extranet site.
Course offerings include Lessons in Professional Liability; Ethics for CPAs — An Overview of the AICPA Code; A Director's Guide to Audit Committees; A Director's Guide to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 on Corporate Responsibility; and Fiduciary Accounting for Trusts & Estates.
