Cloud financial management and accounting software provider Intacct announced the hiring of Kevin Cumley as its new director of the Intacct Accountants Program in collaboration with CPA.com.
By bringing Cumley on to the Intacct Channels Team, the company hopes to continue its growth with accounting firms and other providers of outsourced accounting services, as well as its relationship with CPA.com, an American Institute of CPAs company with a mission of empowering CPAs and businesses for the digital age.
Cumley, who reports to Taylor Macdonald, joins Intacct from SaaS and software provider Abila, where he was vice president of strategic alliances. Prior to that, he was president of Forepoint, a Sage and Deltek value-added reseller.
“Kevin is an experienced leader and his addition to our team will provide a new level of focus around the Intacct Accountants Program,” stated Taylor Macdonald, vice president of Channels for Intacct. “I am confident that Kevin's strong background will allow him to deliver a high level of value and increase the success of all our partners.”
Cumley has a long-standing relationship with CPA.com, which named Intacct as a preferred provider of financial solution for its AICPA Business Solutions in 2009.

Cumley, who graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in accounting and information technology, was also a past chairman of the Information Technology Alliance.
