IntelliConnect Improves Access to CCH Tools

IntelliConnect, the tax research system from CCH, has added many new features that enable researchers get to their answers faster and more effectively.

The company will officially release these enhancements the week of July 5.

For one, users will now see the “browse tree” appear directly on the home page, so when users log into IntelliConnect, they’ll be able to directly access it. Another enhancement has “download” links that provide links to training, tutorials, and forms moved to the home page.

In addition, a publication list on the browse tree provides an overview of all the publications each user subscribes to on IntelliConnect, while selected documents now contain “Relate” buttons so users can easily access the appropriate related content.

“The overall vision and goal is to provide answers to [users] in the easiest, fastest way possible and these enhancements make [IntelliConnect] faster and easier to use,” said CCH product manager Tina Rajski. “What’s really great, [for example], is you can now scroll down and find the publication you want, click on the letter ‘I ‘and go right to the Idaho state tax reporter. We have a Title Finder that helps you find the publication faster. You can go into the browse tree and find whatever content you are looking for. It’s a nice way for some users to see all the content that applies to them.”

CCH currently has over 165,000 users on IntelliConnect, with many smaller and midsized firms joining as new customers, according to spokesperson Leslie Bonacum.
