Intuit, Bill.com, Armanino Top ITA New Member List

The Information Technology Alliance introduced nine new members to its roster of CPA firms, consultants and vendors, which were highlighted by Intuit, online accounts payable and receivables company Bill.com, and top CPA firm Armanino.

The additions were announced at this year’s ITA Fall Collaborative here in Salt Lake City. Other new members included the technology consulting firms InterDyn Cargas, BHE Consulting, and NDH Group; IT service providers I-Business Network and FlexPrint; and Elks Grove Village, Ill.-based CPA firm Porte Brown.

“ITA has for years stood squarely at the intersection of accounting and technology, and one of the chief benefits for our members is the cumulative knowledge and experience shared by practitioners, consultants, and vendors, all of whom participate actively in the organization, “ said ITA president Stan Mork. “We’re announcing an impressive list of new members who value the heightened relevance of ITA in the accounting technology sector today, as both an ongoing knowledge and information resource, as well as a premier networking organization.”

For companies like Bill.com and Intuit, their membership serves their respective goals of connecting more with top CPA firms.

“ITA is an extremely strong organization serving CPAs directly and indirectly.  It is a logical choice for us as we explore additional avenues to work more closely with firms, and develop new and stronger relationships with consultants and other vendors to the CPA profession,” said Bill.com chief executive Rene Lacerte.

Intuit in recent weeks had made their intentions known to work closer with mid to large-sized firms through the official formation of the Accountant & Advisory group. The growing team has a goal of helping firms transition QuickBooks clients to the cloud and QuickBooks Online in particular.
