Intuit introduces Spreadsheet Sync for QBOA

Intuit announced the rollout of a new Spreadsheet Sync feature for QuickBooks Online Advanced that allows for two-way syncing with Microsoft Excel.

Users will be able to send their QBOA data directly to Excel to build customized reports and analyses, as well as to perform bulk uploads and edits. They can upload and edit transactions from Excel back to QuickBooks, including with data from multiple companies. This lets users minimize the amount of manual data entry and manage CSV imports and exports without learning new software.

Spreadsheet Sync provides access to several pre-made templates.

“We know our customers know their spreadsheets, and we believe that we can make their lives easier by connecting the power of spreadsheets to QuickBooks Online Advanced,” said Kelly Vincent, QuickBooks vice president of mid-market small business at Intuit, in a statement. “Bringing this crucial ability to easily sync data with spreadsheets will help our customers save time, reduce errors and build the highly customized reports, analyses, budgets, forecasts and visuals they need to make informed decisions for their businesses.”
