Intuit names TSheets’ Misty Megia head of global ProAdvisor Program

Intuit has named Misty Megia, who joined Intuit when the software giant acquired TSheets, as the new leader of its global ProAdvisor Program. Her background in a broad range of accounting technology services is appropriate for a moment when accountants are expanding their services beyond the traditional offerings of years past.

Since the TSheets acquisition in 2017, Megia has retained her TSheets-focused role as head of Accountant Programs and Education Strategy. As leader of the ProAdvisor Program, she will be charged with delivering on Intuit’s mission to help accounting professionals grow their skills and firms. Her focus will include promoting the QuickBooks ecosystem and driving forward the changes for the newly redesigned ProAdvisor Program, which according to Intuit includes more than 400,000 members worldwide.

Prior to her time with TSheets, Megia served as vice president of strategic initiatives at CPAacademy.org and executive director of The Sleeter Group. Megia brings more than 20 years of experience from roles that span marketing, project management, public speaking, corporate branding and more. She is described as a technology enthusiast with a passion for helping accountants succeed.

“I am thrilled to take on this new adventure with Intuit, and I look forward to continuing to collaborate with the outstanding ProAdvisor community and helping them with their 2019 goals and ambitions,” Megia said in a statement. “There is nothing we can’t conquer together.”
