Intuit Unveils FirmoftheFuture.com

Intuit introduced online resource FirmoftheFuture.com, a new, free hub of curated content for accountants that includes step-by-step guides and resource links.

Announced by Jim McGinnis, vice president of Intuit’s accountant and advisor group, during the 2015 California Accounting and Business Show and Conference, FirmoftheFuture.com’s content was developed by Intuit and industry leaders to help accounting professionals leverage current trends to work more efficiently and collaboratively.

“Accounting firms that don’t adapt to the economic, demographic and technological trends affecting how clients expect to collaborate will not survive the onslaught of disruptive changes,” stated McGinnis. “We’re pleased to be the first to partner with accounting professionals and offer them a resource center to help them embrace change and build a future-ready firm now.”

FirmoftheFuture.com focuses its accountant readership on the three key areas of: getting on the cloud, becoming a trusted advisor, and connecting with clients and prospects via social media.

In conjunction with the site, Intuit is launching a contest in early July that will reward up to 20 accounting firms that are “innovating and shaping the way accounting professionals meet the needs of their small business clients.” The winning firms will be announced at QuickBooks Connect Nov. 2-4 in San Jose, Calif.
