IRS Seeks Advisory Committee Members

The Internal Revenue Service is looking to fill some vacancies on its Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities.

The agency said that it had two vacancies in the employee plans segment, two vacancies in the exempt organizations segment, and one vacancy each in the tax-exempt bonds and Indian tribal governments segments.

There are also two vacancies in the federal, state and local governments segment.

The ACT provides a public forum in which the IRS and representatives from these various segments can meet and provide input on tax policy.
