ITA Prez Ron Eagle to Become Consultant to Accountants

Indianapolis (Oct. 15, 2002) -- Ron Eagle, president of the Information Technology Alliance and one of the founding executives of accounting firm consolidator Centerprise Advisors, announced plans to start a practice management consulting company that serves accounting firms, software resellers and other businesses.

"Providing technology services to clients is a very tough business these days, and maybe my experience can help some firms become stronger and more competitive," said Eagle, who has retired from Centerprise, but plans to remain active in the ITA. "I can review and assess existing operations, help put action plans and focus into the business, and even act as an outsourced leadership resource."

Eagle, who took over ITA when that group in May ceased being a section of the American Institute of CPAs, plans to be active in AICPA technology initiatives. "The Institute is currently working on some very important, and exciting programs, and I am happy to help where I can," he said.

Eagle's consulting practice will be based in the Indianapolis area.
