Jefferson Wells, a global provider of risk advisory and accounting-related services, has launched its Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Center of Expertise, a unit that will provide guidance in technical and compliance issues related to the financial reporting landscape.
To lead the new entity, Jefferson Wells tapped Michelle Search-Winters as global director. In her new role she will provide strategic direction and oversee day-to-day operations. She will be based in Denver.
Prior to joining Jefferson Wells in 2004, Search-Winters, a CPA, has held senior-level positions with PwC, Golden Star Resources and Deloitte.
