Journyx has upgraded its Web-based time-tracking and expense management software with new user interface features.

Journyx Timesheet Version 7.5 includes new search and select options on the entry screens that let employees pick time and expense entry details from large or complex lists. Another option automatically pulls time entries from the previous timesheet into the current period for ongoing project work.

The latest version also adds features for leave requests. One option restricts leave request notifications to just an employee's designated time approvers. Another option requires approval of leave requests before they are loaded into employees' timesheets.

For system administrators, there are options to define a user's status as active or inactive based on the employee's start and end dates. Another option includes a link on the timesheet login screen for automated user password resets. Administrators can also combine individual late notice e-mails for approvers into a single, daily notice.
